Emily F. Sutton, School Psychologist, M.A. NCSP
Emily Sutton’s dedication to working with children and families is longstanding. She found her passion for special education while pursuing her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Delaware. Ms. Sutton went on to complete her Master’s Degree and National Certification in School Psychology at Iona College, a graduate program accredited by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). Since then, Ms. Sutton has been a school psychologist for a top-ranking public school district in New Jersey. There, she leads the Child Study Team in assessing students, training educators and collaborating with families to ensure that the diverse needs of children are met. As a school insider, she knows the complexities of navigating the special education system first-hand. Outside of the school day, she brings these experiences to coaching families and advocating for children with special needs, which include but are not limited to ADHD, autism, anxiety and learning disabilities. Ms. Sutton’s approach to consultation goes beyond her expertise in the IEP process, as she strives to improve each child’s well-being overall.
