Meet Dr. Melissa Fiorito-Grafman

Dr. Melissa Fiorito-Grafman’s extensive academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Delaware, where she majored in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Pursuing her passion for psychology, she earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and an Educational Specialist Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Seton Hall University. Dr. Grafman then achieved a Doctorate of Philosophy in Counseling Psychology, specializing in Neuropsychology. Her post-doctoral training included residencies at New York University Langone Medical Center and fellowships in Pediatric/Adult Neuropsychology. Licensed in New Jersey and New York, she runs a private practice in Wyckoff, New Jersey, catering to individuals across the lifespan.

Dr. Grafman’s expertise extends beyond clinical practice. She specializes in psycho-educational and neuropsychological evaluations for children through young adults, collaborating with schools and community agencies. Her research contributions include co-authoring “The Handbook of Interviewing Children” and publishing in respected journals. Recognized as a leading professional in pediatric psychology, she has been featured in various publications and serves on professional boards and associations. Currently, Dr. Grafman explores integrative healing practices like clinical hypnosis and EMDR, aiming to enhance her patient care and expand her reach into broader contexts, including professional sports and corporate organizations.
