Dr. Jayna Ewald
Associate Clinical Neuropsychologist
Dr. Ewald is an Associate Clinical Neuropsychologist at The Center for Neuropsychology & Psychotherapy, where she conducts comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations with children, adolescents, and adults. She works with individuals presenting with concerns related to attention and executive functioning, learning, autism spectrum disorder, emotional functioning, and other neurodevelopmental, psychological, and neurological conditions. She values a thoughtful, individualized approach to assessment and aims to provide patients and families with clear, practical, and meaningful recommendations.
Dr. Ewald completed her two-year APA-accredited postdoctoral fellowship at the Neuropsychological Assessment Clinic in Brighton, MA, where she received extensive training in patient-centered neuropsychological assessment across the lifespan. Her fellowship experience included evaluations of both children and adults with neurodevelopmental and psychiatric concerns, as well as individuals presenting with cognitive changes related to neurological conditions, acquired brain injuries, mild cognitive impairment, and neurodegenerative disorders.
She earned her doctoral degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Connecticut, specializing in School Psychology. Her graduate training included extensive experience in public school and therapeutic educational settings, where she provided cognitive, academic, and social-emotional assessment, consultation, and therapeutic and behavioral interventions for children and young adults. Her doctoral research focused on interventions targeting anxiety and related academic and social functioning, as well as systems-level work involving evidence-based screening practices and school wellness.
