I highly recommend using Dr. Fiorito-Grafman for neuropsychological and educational testing.  She was very thorough, personable and responsive.  My husband and I had concerns about our son’s academic, behavioral and emotional development.  We knew our son was struggling in school and in other aspects of his life but we didn’t understand why and we didn’t know the best ways to help him.  We engaged Dr. Fiorito-Grafman to perform a complete neuropsychological assessment of our son and she met with him over the course of two full days, as well as observing him in school.  Due to our son’s ADHD, he needed more frequent breaks and Dr. Fiorito-Grafman was able to make accommodations to ensure he completed the testing.

Through her testing, she assessed his strengths and weaknesses and diagnosed his specific learning disabilities to give us better insight into him and enable us to more effectively help him.  Her report was very thorough and detailed and she explained her findings to us in detail.  We appreciated the time she spent helping us to navigate a complex and overwhelming process and to evaluate the best educational options for him.  Based on her findings, we ultimately decided that an out of district school placement was the best fit for him.  Our educational attorney was able to effectively leverage Dr. Fiorito-Grafman’s detailed neuropsych report to help us reach a successful settlement with our school district.

Robyn

We have reached out to Dr. Grafman for a neuropsychological evaluation for our autistic son because we have been having challenges during his life, especially during adolescence.

Working with Dr. Grafman has been a pleasure. She responded quickly to all my questions and concerns. She has helped our family to see another side of our son through her interpretations of his IQ through more extensive testing. We found out through Dr. Grafman’s testing, that our son has below average to average IQ ( we were unsure of his IQ because of conflicting school reports) so the way we relate to him has been life changing for everyone involved.

We will forever be grateful to her expertise in helping us navigate our sons autism. The information we have received from Dr. Grafman has made us better informed parents of our special needs child. Dr. Grafman’s testing is the driving force behind helping our son get the services he so desperately needs.

I highly recommend Dr. Grafman.

Although it is in a child’s nature to be active, energetic, and curious, there comes a point when parents begin to question whether or not such activity exceeds their child’s age group.
